These are some experiments that I tried with casting. I added some shapes to the mould before pouring over the slip so that the bowls are left with impressions and the underneath has a 'line drawing' effect where the liquid porcelain meets the piped porcelain. These are not fired yet but I think they will look nice once glazed, and perhaps more delicate after the shrinkage of the porcelain.

| This edging makes it awkard for me to work the clay once its cast however it is quite a nice design. |
